For example, while the Galaxy S7 generally offers support for Wi-Fi calling, my international version of the phone doesn’t offer the feature. Basically, it has to be supported by both the phone and the carrier. A wifi calling setting was no where on the phone. There was also no visual voicemail. I made the switch to tmobile last week and as soon as i put the sim card in i got a wifi calling notification an the option is now there.

Oct 16, 2018 · I've had 4 Xiaomi phones that I've used on T-Mobile--MI Note 3, MI A1, MI Mix 2 and MI Mix 2S and WiFi calling worked on none of them including the MI A1 which ran stock Android instead of MIUI. But MI A1 owners who ran LOS did report that WiFi calling worked on their phones.
