The way I get American netflix from Canada is to simply change my DNS settings to an american one. I'm sure you can find Canadian DNS codes, you don't have to download anything. Just set up wifi -> Click custom instead of easy and input a manual canadian DNS (Just google one) On the connection settings screen, select the connection file, then select Change Settings. Select the right arrow, then select DNS. On the following screen, where it says "Auto-Obtain DNS," select No, then select Detailed Setup. Select Primary DNS, then hold down the left arrow to delete the existing DNS (it defaults to zeros).
